EXPLORE YOUR PATHWAYS

At King’s Trade Training Centre (KTTC), we offer two incredible pathways for senior students. Depending on your entry year level, you can choose one of the following:

SPORT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

For Year 11 and 12 students passionate about sports, this new program launches in 2025. It combines practical experiences with academic qualifications, helping you achieve a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) along with various certificates and diplomas and a pathway to university.

Graduate with:

• Certificate II Sport & Recreation
• Certificate II Outdoor Recreation
• Certificate II Coaching
• Certificate III Fitness
• Officiating
• Diploma of Business
• Diploma of Sport

*There will be an intake for both Year 11 and Year 12 students in 2025. (Dependent on enrolment numbers) 

TRADE TRAINING PATHWAYS

For Year 10 to 12 students eager to start a career in a trade, this pathway lets you gain hands-on experience while completing your schooling.

What You’ll Experience:

• Attend KTTC five days a week for Essential Mathematics, Essential English, and various Certificate courses.
• Participate in trade-specific training one day a week and up to two days in industry placements, either as work experience or a school-based apprenticeship/traineeship.

Graduate with:

• Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE)
• Certificate II in Skills for Work & Vocational Pathways
• Certificate II in Workplace Skills (Business)
• Certificate II in your chosen trade
• A strong start to your career with an apprenticeship or traineeship that may lead directly to employment.
